Why local cremation habits matter for your bird
Cremation accounts for around 70.5%[1] of deaths in California, and scattering ashes is a familiar ritual here. Bird keepers borrow it naturally: a pinch released from a hilltop, a spoonful under the tree where a hen liked to dust-bathe.
