What should I do with a dead wild bird I found in Fresno?

Is freeze-drying an option for a pet bird near Fresno?
Yes, a few US studios freeze-dry small birds, typically for about $650 to $1,350, and it takes months. It's much more expensive than cremation and not for everyone.
